I don't watch this show, but you know what? Hardcore porn scares the HELL OUT OF ME. D: That's why I would rather read mature fanfics or sometimes adult mangas or doujinshis because then I don't have to see a real penis/vagina/anus. I just imagine/see them all blurry and focus on other things, like the feelings, expressions, words etc.

Yeah, I agree that the sex becomes a bit grating after a while, but I still think it's a fun show. Not necessarily a "good" show, but it's funny and some of the characters are likable(though, I wonder what sort of misery they're gonna put Tara through in the next season. Girl just can't catch a break). The only thing I'm sort of disappointed with in the show is that the vampires don't turn all monstrous when they suck blood(like, the colors of their eyes changing or they look more feral). I suppose I've just been spoiled by other vampire fiction.

Also, a part of me kind of wish there'd be vampire hunters or something like that, I dunno, just some kind of real threat to the vampires. Not just religious nutjobs.

...yeah, I know I'm probably missing the entire point of the show. Sue me.
