Pah... haters to the left! I grew up on those games (and earlier ones like Croc, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro). They're still some of my favourite games, despite moving on to a lot of the 'space marine' type games too. Ratchet & Clank are awesome btw... and you wouldn't be classed a furry unless you started shipping within the fandoms and drawing dodgy art/writing dodgy fanfic (or suddenly started believing you are an animal and started dressing like one). Just liking anthropomorphic characters doesn't make you a furry (if it did, then I'd have been one from the age of 4... damn you 'Wind In The Willows' and 'Farthing Wood'! *snerk*). And if people call you immature for liking these games - feel proud - don't ever lose that inner platformer-loving child!

Ratchet and Clank is made of win, it's got lots of explosions and a quirky sense of humor that's not afraid of Getting Crap Past The Radar every now and then. You'll note they're rated Teen, anyway.

Can't judge Klonoa or the Sonic games, but Ratchet&Clank are so not kids games, and Sly Cooper is pretty darn awesome, both in storytelling and gameplay.

Small and non-human protagonists do not automatically kiddy stuff make.
