The fact that this movie exists isn't the worse part. The creators made this movie just so they can make a sequel with a 12 person centipede. I don't even.

The part that gets me the most is that nowadays horror is associated with blood'n'gore instead of well, horror. I watch horror movies to be scared, not to be disgusted with torture porn. D:

Are we the same person? I've been saying that for a couple of years now! I got into the horror genre because I loved scares and suspense, not torture porn that makes me turn off the movie because I'm about to vomit.

Have you actully seen the film? There is almost no gore or blood whatsoever so not sure where you got the idea it was a torture film like Saw or Hostel from.
The Human Centipede is actully a pretty good film, not very deep maybe, but still a good and interestinf film.

My comment was on the current state of horror, not about this movie. I know that this movie is low on actually showing the "gross" stuff, but it looks like it was made just for shock value. (interviews with the creators sugGest as much as well) :/

Fair enough I'm just so feed up with people bitching about stuff that they haven't even seen/read. It just really annoys the hell out of me.
As for interviews I tend not to read those as they usually end up spoiling things for me so I don't bother.
