I think it has less to do with the songs themselves and a whole lot more on the words she's said about them and their message.

Hopefully, you just like the music and not the message behind them, otherwise, you deserve each other.

it's sure the reason why I hate her - if it wasn't for that song, I'd be generally indifferent cause I just find her kind of aggressively mediocre. Throw that song in, though, and I'd pay goooooooood money for the opportunity to punch her in the face

however. I think you should like whatever/whoever you like, and fuck what everyone else thinks. Why bother hiding it?

I like her voice. I find her songs catchy. If she weren't such a homophobic bitch I'd probably like her music.
That said I don't think it's WRONG to like her. After all, no one's perfect, and she's obviously no exception. As long as people don't go HURRDURR YOU DON'T LIKE HER BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO TASTE HURR I don't really care.

That song and Ur So Gay are the reasons I don't like her. :/ I understand if you like something if it's catchy though. I think Kesha (I'm NOT spelling it with that fucking dollar sign) is stupid to the point of evolution crawls back five years every time she opens her mouth, but Tik Tok is catchy as hell.

Pretty much. I think she's beyond gorgeous and her songs are fun. But I'm never going to tell anyone if it's going to go like this post, which makes me feel like I'm a homophobe for even glancing at her :/

I don't like her because being a Christian pop singer wasn't making her enough money so she decided to try her hand at faux-bisexuality, mock-retroism, and thinly veiled genderism. All while criticizing Lady Gaga for her Alejandro video calling disrespectful to religion and as creative as a comedian making a fart joke. Really Katy Perry, this coming from someone who has a video where you shoot frosting out of the nipples of a giant cupcake bra?
