I don't disagree that he's dorky, but I'm sure Zuko could top if he tried some of the time. He does have a wicked temper and angry blow-ups every now and then.

Just because he had a moral event horizon and did a heel-face-turn in S3 doesn't mean he got completely emasculated. Come on, OP.

Yes! I feel that way exactly.

Don't get me wrong, I love his social awkwardness. But with someone he felt comfortable enough with, I don't think him topping is completely out of the question.

Pretty much this. I think him trying to make nice is just equated to him being submissive, but I don't see it that way.

Actually the reason I enjoy my ship in ATLA is in part due to the power dynamic, and that they can both top. Not that you don't already know that misora.

But now I totally want Zuko being dorky enough that he needs a book to dominate. It sounds hysterical.

OP here! I don't think being subby means he's emasculated or anything, I just can't picture him with my waking mind OR APPARENTLY MY UNCONSCIOUS MIND being any good at translating his RAEG into topping. At most I can imagine him being heavily topped from the bottom by Jet. It'd blow up in his face like everything always does! :p
