You do realize that promoting the stereotype that attractive people are stupid makes you just as shallow as the person you're railing against?

Hey, I did the high school "omg girls who take pride in their appearance are so shallow and dumb and lame, not like ME" thing, too, but then I grew up and realized that one can look like not-shit AND string together a coherent sentence.

I think if you read this thread a bit further, you'll find the OP of that comment I replied to says elsewhere that if she can't write, at least she's hot!!! (No, really, go look. I'm not the one who was pitting her brain against her appearance - she did that all without my help. (Or he, if that's applicable.) That's what my comment that you replied to was in relation to.)

Honey, getting writers block sometimes doesn't equal stupid. There's not a single writer on my f-list who doesn't express frustration with their writing sometimes. They cope by bawwing about it on their journals, I cope by taking comfort in my appearance so I'll be in a more positive frame of mind when I go back to my writing.
