I wouldn't exactly call House/Cuddy unpopular. Yes, a lot of people hate it (although I don't think the problem is so much the pairing itself, but how the writers handled it in the last couple of seasons -- that put a lot of people off). But it's still the main het pairing in the House fandom (unlike Harry/Hermione), and you can definitely find MANY fans of it.
