I admit I hate the H/Hr paring but not the fans. I sort of ship Cuddy but not latley. It's complicated.
Anyway. Why do you think so many people bash them? Because there are 1-2 fans who ship it? No because there are a lot of people. In my opinion these parings are really popular. Just don't get on people's neveres with insisting it is canon (even if Huddy is I guess) and talk about the paring in the comms for it. I've lurked in the Huddy comm and there are lots of nice people there. Sure there are always some crazies giving parings a bad name (as a Zutara shipper I should know) :)
You like what you like. Maybe one day you will ship a super popular ship and remember not to bash people who ship another parings respectfully. Maybe not.
