I feel like the only person in fandom that doesn't care about them anymore and hasn't since like episode 4. I feel so left out :/

And I'm also a bit sad because you're totally right. I'm not sure I've ever seen a fandom excel at missing the point as much as Umineko fandom.

The plot is cracked out as all fuck and I'm depressed that I'm moderately addicted to it. Like, it's almost too ridiculous to be properly understood, and it almost feels like there's no point in trying to understand it until the end, because holy fuck new characters every single god damn episode of the VN.

I think Battler and Beatrice are kind of the only reason I keep following the freaking thing. (Also, roleplaying that shit sexually would be hot as fuuuuuuuck)

Nah, believe me. If Episode 6 made one thing abundantly clear, the plot's definitely not as cracked out as it seems it is. It's starting to looking pretty clear and (... relatively) straight forward.

Um...pardon my rudeness, but what's so hard to understand about it? I mean, it's reached the point where Ryukishi's been deliberately going out of his way to spell things out for his readers.

...I haven't played the sixth episode yet for one (and I haven't touched the franchise since the translation of the fifth came out). The thing only came out a week ago, these things take god damn time to read especially when one's busy with real life as I am right now.

I read it because it's silly and fun, the mystery actually has little to no appeal to me. ryukishi needs to hire an editor because his writing is really, really tedious, otherwise looking around for hints would have appealed to me more.
