Hahaha, are you me? I just rediscovered this comic and had most of the same questions, too. I haven't reread it, as I do not trust the tastes of my junior high self (and I'd rather remember it for the nostalgia good), but I was wondering whatever happened to this girl, too.

Aw, I really liked that one! The storyline didn't really appeal to me, but I remember being absolutely in love with the art and mad jealous of the artist's abilities.

I'll give her credit though - she knew she wasn't going to finish and so posted a summary of how the story would have gone, had she been able to keep working on it. I wish more people would post summaries of canceled projects, rather than just keeping them terminally on hiatus.

Holy crap, OP! I always wondered what happened too! I absolutely adored this comic when I was younger, hehe. One comic had lyrics from an Afghan Whigs song that I still listen to all the time.

Well, not only the art style similarities - the comic features vampires, and the min character is from Nova Scotia, the same place the Arcana artist was from.

Unless Jones is a penname and has no relation to her real name at all, I don't think they're the same. Arcana was by Kelly Barrie. I think similarities is all it is.

Awww, nostalgia. ♥ Arcana was one of the first webcomics I ever really got into, & I was sorry that it ended when it did--though like somebody said earlier, I'm really glad she posted a summary. Why don't more abandoned webcomics do that? Particularly those that were nearing a conclusion. RPG World, I'm lookin' at you.
