aw this makes me sad. I understand it though. But you should make sure you are being healthy not starving yourself! I love her but SHE starves herself, she says she pretty much doesnt eat. I dont think she loves herself as much as she should either...

Try listening to her music while you exercise. It'll remind you of her all the same, not to mention it's very motivating.
And if you exercise, you'll hopefully feel better about eating. I know I do.

I actually do this all time. My exercise videos' commentaries are boring, so I just mute them and put on Lady Gaga instead. I can't tell you how many times I've done crunches and push-ups to "LoveGame".

I feel kinda silly now because I never even thought of doing this. My exercise routine is going to be much more fun from now on. xD

Completely missing the point, I know, but she looks like a Barbie doll in that picture. Barbie dolls, unrealistic as they may be, don't really look that good as far as female bodies go. Have you thought about looking at different kinds of "ideal" bodies besides just this one? Even Gaga herself looks physically different from one video to the next, I don't think it's a good idea to fixate on one idea so much.

Starvation is not the answer, anon. I know dietitians (I hang out with them all the time) and they are constantly going on about how starving yourself is pretty much the worst way to lose weight. Your body will start consuming your own muscle before it eats into your fat.

I know the pressure you feel--I've felt it myself. There's so much pressure to be thin, to be perfect, to be gorgeous. But it's not worth it to be unhealthy. If you're really dedicated, try eating lots of raw fruits and vegetables, along with lean meats. The key to weight loss is to work off more calories than you take in, so exercise is also a huge factor. Buy some exercise videos, join a gym, or, hell, even take a walk.

Run, bb. I used to have an eating disorder, and running beat it right out of me. My body image shifted from what I looked like to what I could do, and I haven't had a recurrence of my problem for over ten years now. I don't know if it would work for you, too, but it can't hurt to try.

I think finding a fandom idol who isn't a conventionally attractive pre-packaged attention whore whose actions totally contradict everything that comes out of her mouth would be a step in the right direction.

If you starve yourself, you'll only regret it later if you ever decide to start eating--even a little.

I had a teacher who starved herself when she was back in high school, and once she decided to start eating healthy, she just gained an incredible amount of weight. She completely destroyed her metabolism and now she's struggling to lose weight.

It's all about portions and what you eat. Don't listen to anyone who says bigger girls are real, because that's bullshit. If you want to be thin, then work out and eat healthy. I personally think women look a lot sexier with a toned body--especially opposed to a bone body--but it's your call.
