Why isn't there one? I'm curious as to the obvious reason, because I am sure I don't know what it is. Unless it's that fans like me are so happy and genuinely pleased with the writing as it is that they/we don't feel the need to write more.

Basically, this. A fandom seems very unnecessary for the series but I still would like one because I'm so enamored with it. I'm just too greedy, I guess. :I

There already is a community - it's just a matter of people being active and contributing, sadly. :(

Posted a ton of drabbles and ficlets and immediately thought of this secret, just in case you were still looking for fic of it. Don't feel obliged though!
I'd kill for a proper fandom too, btw.

Why do people think fandom is all about fic?
I'm genuinely curious, because I never read or write fic at all and I still find myself overwhelmed with fannish activities in my fandoms.

I guess in my case I associate fandom with fic, because for me my fandoms have all been based on something with a text, either a book or film or TV script. Thanks to fandom I now feel like I understand my friends' desire to watch things like pre-game shows and post-game analysis-- their team and its fans are their fandom, and while I'm sure someone, somewhere is writing fic about the players that's not what fandom is all about to them. But yes-- in general there could be an active fandom around a TV show without fic, but I've yet to find one in my personal experience, and I'm not sure what we would do other than squee posts, meta, gifs, vids, etc. Well, I guess that's enough.
