When I played that game I was convinced that the big guy in the back was not actually human and actually some sort of golem that the little guy made just so he would not have to brew his own coffee in the morning. Then he found out he had the strength of A MILLION GORONS and so he put him to work doing blacksmithing since that was always what the little guy wanted to do, but never had the physical capacity to do much more than make some fancy jewelry. The two became RICH LIKE MOTHERFUCKERS after Link asked them to forge the Gilded sword (all that gold looking stuff on the actual sword is just some gold leaf or an alloy because gold would be so nonsensical to put on the actual cutting portion of the blade). Then they moved into the renovated stalchild house on Great Bay.

...I had a lot of time on my hands as a child.

This is an awesome story and I love it.

This will be my headcanon for them now. Awesome \O/
