If that happens, I will be very angry. A 12 episode hookup would be the dumbest thing ever. People think Kataang is undeveloped...imagine "falling in love" in 12 episodes! Now that's undeveloped.

If Korra can make it through the entire series and not end up with anyone, I will be so freakin' happy.

Ouch. Well, I hate to be the one to tell you this but there is going to romance in the series. This is a snippet from a comic con interview with Bryke:

•On whether or not we'd see a love interest for Korra: "We love that stuff. We're total cornballs, we love cheesy teen romance. Rest assured, there's plenty or romance happening in the story, but it's the same balance of ingredients that we like."

Not gonna lie, I like the cornball romance, and as long as they have a sort of "Katara" romance - where it isn't a central part of her character but merely a facet of her interactions, then I'll be super pleased!

Suki and Sokka probably interact in fewer episodes than that, and I thought the development of their relationship was perfectly convincing.

Nothing against Zutara or Firebenders with tragic pasts, but... just on my own opinion, I'm a little tired of tsundere romances. '_';

Mike and Bryan often poked fun at Zutarians. I seriously doubt they're going to give an apology ship to make up for Kataang and Maiko. OP, I think you're just a butthurt Zutarian ;)

Seeing as how they said there is romance in the series, and Tenzin must be at least in his mid to late 20's and far too old for Korra... Her love interest might very well be an earthbender, or a non-benter, but it has just as good of a chance of it being a firebender as well. ;)

I think my most burning question about Tenzin (omg I messed up his name already) is if he shaves his head or not.

AUGH I LOVE TEO so much (as well as a lot of secondary characters in that show-- Chong and Lily best have some free love hippie children walking around Republic city or at the very least a shout out to them or I will cry myself to sleep at night)

The thing I'm most excited for is Republic City. STEAMPUNK CITY?! HELL YEAH! I can't wait to see what the tech looks like and see how it's evolved since the first series!

Oh man it's going to be freaking awesome! Eeee!

Maybe Sokka helped build some awesome tech? Or at least innovate some stuff? Plan-Guy was pretty crafty with the inventions too!

...And anyways considering we know pretty much nothing else about any other characters in the show besides Korra and Tenzin, I think it's just kinda silly for people to be romance-speculating (romance-culating? That sounds weird and filthy...) already. Just...why?
