That book is only a couple of inches thick. I would think that if the height difference between you and your guy is only that few (as opposed to the almost foot or more I was envisioning before I finished reading your secret), then you're no worse off than most male/female dynamics when it comes to height. I mean, my guy is 6 ft, I'm 5'4 (which would be, what, two copies of DHs?) and yet we can still manage all the positions you mentioned without standing on anything. Don't get me wrong, I don't consider us special or anything, but it just makes me wonder how you two are doing it...

That's what I was thinking. I just measured the UK hardback version, and it's about 1 3/4 inches thick. Does it really make that much difference? (I wouldn't know. I'm 5'10". Men don't often get hugely taller than me.)

Correct grammar for this phrase depends on which regional English you speak. As it does for many other phrases. Where I live you version would be unacceptable, I suspect the same is true for the OP.
