I feel the same way, anon.
The saddest thing is, this is 70 years later, Korra's a teenager... so Aang only lived about 50 years after the finale? I mean, c'mon, Bumi was still alive and kicking ass at 112, Kyoshi lived a long time; hell, even SOZIN, one of the bad guys, lived to 102--and Aang dies before he's 70? This makes me a sad panda...

They said he burned some of his 'avatar life' away when he was trapped in the icceburg for 100 years. So he'd technically be 150 something.

...Wait a minute...that's really depressing.

Now I'm all sad...Aang wasn't even my favorite character, but it's kind of depressing to think about him just being dead after such a (relatively, considering lifespans) short amount of time.

I kind of have to wonder if maybe someone killed/assassinated him? The Korra plot does kind of indicate that there's an anti-bending movement on the rise, after all. Or simply being frozen in the iceberg for 100 years significantly shortened his lifespan?

That (and this is just a joke, mind you) or the doofus tried the ride the unagi one more time and wasn't as successful this time around.

He got to 67 which isn't that bad. Roku only got to 70+.
