This man turned me into a baker, into a cook, and hell, into a scientist to some degree. I was SO CLOSE to roadtripping from central FL to Atlanta for that anniversary shindig.

Some of his snobbishness I can't handle (I'm looking at your spice cabinet; also, your insistence on apple liqueur in a pie) but otherwise? Oh man.

I've been wild about that man since 2001 or so. He is AMAZING in every way it's possible to be amazing.

ALTONNNNN.

That is all I have to say. Love that man and that show.

I've been a fan for SO LONG.

(I think there might be a couple of fics about him in the discovery slash comm. I wasn't a huge fan of them. :\ I've toyed with story ideas myself because the crazy cast of characters in Good Eats basically begs for it, but I've never actually written anything. Yet.)

This secret made me laugh a lot. Also, haven't there been quite a few secrets with people talking about how much they like him? (And then there was that one girl's friend who posted explicit Alton Brown sexual fantasies on Facebook or whatever.)

Yeah, seriously. How does this man NOT have a fandom? He made his cooking show because the cooking shows currently airing weren't "interesting enough". that's why his show is so fun and has neat camera angles and stuff and alskfjakjg HE'S A GENIUS
