(Anonymous) 2010-07-31 08:02 am (UTC)(link)And I say this as a huge Kichiku Megane fan -- I've played several routes multiple times, read the first novel and manga (the second set is only a matter of time!), et cetera. KM was my favorite BL game until I came across Lamento. To be fair, I like them for completely different reasons -- I'm into KM for the characters, while Lamento appeals to my longstanding love of original-world fantasy with big-stakes plots and life-changing magic -- so it's not all too easy to compare them, I admit. But Lamento still has a slight edge over Kichiku Megane for me.

(Anonymous) 2010-07-31 09:36 am (UTC)(link)I also liked the characters in KM - well that and the amazingly cracky premise (and the typing game. THE TYPING GAME!) . My other favorite is Hanakage, for the characters and the setting. I'm not that huge into fantasy but I'll definitely give Lamento a try now.
