(Anonymous) 2010-08-13 04:24 am (UTC)(link)It used to be, you couldn't admit having black friends for fear of society being shocked and scandalized at your association with an inferior people. Now, you can't mention having black friends (or hispanic friends, or asian friends, or lgbt friends) for fear of being called out as bragging about your minority friends to disguise your own horrible, white-priveleged true intentions.
Maybe someday, people like you will go away and people can all talk about our friends as they really are without racist judgement (especially racist judgement disguised as political correctness) being passed upon them :)
