I agree in some respect. Although I did enjoy the beginning of their relationship - Harley's slow descent into madness, the Joker's corruption of her, his abusive tendencies towards her, etc - I do believe it was dragged on for too long. It seems that after a while the Joker would have simply killed her off, rather than merely threatening to do it all the time. He's meant to be unpredictable after all. That's where I feel any "affection" or "tolerance" came from - the writers inability to kill off such a popular character for good.

WOAH WHAT WHAT? I don't think you know what you're talking about, because any guy who has these interests would be more than pleased to find a mate that shares the same interests. As far as I'm aware, those two fandoms are loved by both genders. There are LOT'S of girls that like them. Including me, but I'm not as much as an LOTR fan. But still, there are TONS of geeky girls out there anon. And I'm sure any geeky guy would love to find his geeky girl. I know, I want to find my geeky guy.

It's like any normal couple, only when normal couples talk about their friends and the neighbors and where to go on holiday and celebrity gossip and hobbies and cats and trains and lampposts and boats and donkeys... *breath* ...geek couples also talk about geeky stuff. Interesting stuff!
