FF9 had two player mode? I never knew. I know FFAnthologies had two player, at least for FF6, but when I played it with a friend we were just messing around and we wound up killing each other in battle and having the moving character deadlocked because he was being told to walk in two opposite directions at the same time.

lol it was somewhere in the Options; you could set characters to either controller 1 or 2. It was still just a 1 player game, and then in battle whichever controller they were set to played them. It was super fun haha

Umm, I can't remember. I'm pretty sure it was the same format as however the game was normally played, so probably one at a time.
