Yay!! a Rachel Morgan secret!! even if I don't like it so much.
I can't say that they are the only reason I read those books, because the novel is so good, but I think that they are 70% of the reason.

But...those scenes aren't exactly f/f "slash". Rachel feels nothing for Ivy outside of friendship - and they haven't had sex once in the series (the bites not being counted), not to mention the fact the Rachel seems to have a new man in her life every other book. I don't really understand where you're coming from here in regard to their relationship.

I'm not the OP, but I just got done with book 6 and... the 'will she or won't she' bite scenes between Rachel and Ivy are written in a very sexual manner. Sure, there's no hot and heavy lesbian action, but the emotional aspect reminded me of a sexual encounter every single time. Actually, it seemed even more-so than some of Rachel's actual sex scenes with guys. But that may just be me reading WAY between the lines.

What a timely secret! I just recently got into this series. (On the 6th book right now!) Actually... I sorta have a love/hate relationship with it. Not the heavily alluded Rachel/Ivy stuff, but Rachel is... her acidic personality makes it tough to read. A lot.

I still ship Rachel/Trent though. <3

HAHA, that's both funny and sad. Yeah. :( Femmeslash shouldn't be a political obligation. I think the state of femmeslash suffers a little because people do treat it that way. Even when people want to write it, that little inner critic makes it unfun to do so.
