Drumming Son can only be a Master tune. While Blinding screams Cobb/Mal, Hardest of Hearts is perfect for Holmes/Watson, and Cosmic Love is Doctor/Companion.

Considering I've seen people patting themselves on the back for listening to "such a unique!!" band? Yeah, I figure it's a reason. Plus there's the fact that everyone seems to think her lyrics are amazing when they're just vague and generic. When you come down to it, she's a chick with a weird voice and weird lyrics -- which is nothing special, but people seem to think it is.

I must say I agree, even though I LOVE the album...and used "Hardest of Hearts" on my Owen/Cristina fanmix. >____> But that was several months ago! They also use her stuff way too much on TV and in trailers and stuff...but I still love it.

I love Florence, and I also don't appreciate the oversaturation of her songs on all fanmixes either, but there could be WAY worse artists to be constantly inundated with on fanmixes.

Like Katy Perry. I'd rather be constantly bombarded by songs that are at least good than songs that are shit. I may hate them/get sick of them in time, but I find it slightly more tolerable than constantly seeing all the other crappy bands/artists that are around everywhere these days.

I just don't buy that that "Kiss With A Fist" song describes EVERY SINGLE RELATIONSHIP of any two characters, in every fandom. That, and GaGa's "Bad Romance". I really go out of my way to find some beautiful and unique songs for my fanmixes, but sometimes I wonder why I bother when I could just stick "Kiss With A Fist" and "Bad Romance" together and call it a day.

THIS. I feel the same way. It's part of the reason this whole trend bothers me so much. No matter how fitting it is, "Drumming" has already been on a million Doctor Who fsts. "Howl" gets slapped on anything vaguely related to wolves. It's boring, and repetitive -- especially the times when the song doesn't even seem to fit.
