Cassim was so hot. And I am not really a fan of incest pairings because they usually don't grab me, and I felt awful and wrong for thinking his dynamics with Aladdin were kind of sexy :|

I... I admit I've written a few incest pairings in the past. Icon unrelated, I swear! But most of the time I share the 'ew!' reaction.

In fiction I don't find anything wrong with theoretical incest pairings or canon ones, it's just that they don't grab me and are usually overrated for being more tragic and therefore stronger/more interesting(? wtf fandom) than non-related couples. But once in a while a relationship interests me that just happens to be familial :D but yeah usually it's 'ew' XD

I've... never really gotten that 'overrated' bit. I don't see much incest written, but maybe it's just my fandoms...

Ah, well. If it's good, it's good.

hhah XD it definitely depends on the fandoms. It's huge in some fandoms, while it's more shunned in others. Fandom cultural differences wtf

And agreed on the last thing~

Hmm... Funny thing is, in my main fandom's series in general, it's common; but in the particular game I'm most involved in the fandom of, there's practically none. (I've only read one, and it was a parody.) Funny how things work.

Yay~
