Awesome! You just made me feel ten tons better about always carrying ten tons of mixed emergency and convenience supplies in my backpack. (Though being able to repair my defective freebie bag onsite at Comic-Con went a long way toward that, too!)

OH GOD I CARRIED SO MUCH STUFF AT COMIC CON. Emergency water, food, safety pins, duct-tape, velcro, scissors, this list would go on forever...

As much as love the fact that you don't care about what people think of you, I'm a bit concerned about how carrying over half your weight of stuff may be affecting your back. My advice is to maybe tone it down a bit and focus on the bare essentials so you won't strain yourself as much. ;P

I can kinda relate to this, though. I used to bring a lot of things with me for whatever emergency I may encounter but the weight took a toll on my legs and back seeing as I'm only 4'11. D: I realized that I also had some compulsion problems related to constant anxiety of everything going wrong that I needed to resolve. I'm not as bad about it now, although I'm still consider myself plenty prepared my travel-sized packs of what-have-yous. (Key word is indeed "travel-sized".)

Hah, thank you for your concern, anon. I'm quite worried about it myself, to tell you the truth. Dx But it can be really hard to avoid carrying to much stuff even when I do try to limit it to the essentials, because I play a musical instrument.
