I can't get over just how much I love the pig-like one. It just looks so happy and aww <3 It seems to me that a lot of people complain with each new generation and then warm up to them anyway once the games actually come out. Dissenters gonna dissent.

I can't get over the fact that firepig's final evolution (if it's real, anyway) looks like the lovechild of Wind Waker!Ganondorf and Jalhalla XD That's not a bad thing, it's a hilarious thing.

And dude, the grass starter is adorable. Yeah, I'm going grass again, I think...

tbh I'm not a rabid fan of any of them, but you can always catch other ones, I don't see the big deal. I would like the water one if its final evolution wasn't so random-looking from its previous evolutions.

I am actually ridiculously excited for the new starters. I haven't liked the designs of /all/ of the starters and their evolutions since Red and Blue.

The new water starter's final evolution looks like a big leap from it's second, but screw that it's middle form is ADORABLE.

But mostly excited for firepig.

I wasn't too thrilled either, and I don't follow Pokemon that much but after I saw the evolutions for them I started to like them more. The water one and leaf one look pretty cool.

I think they're all great.

I have no problems with their designs. It is only the fact that GF went with the fire/fighting combo for a third time that seriously pisses me off. I almost feel like we are being trolled.

THIS SO MUCH.

That's the only problem I have with Pokabu. Seriously, can't we try a different fighting combination of fire with something other than fighting?

They also went for pure Grass and pure Water for a third time.

Yet no one seems to be complaining about THAT, instead they just go for LOL FIAR FITING BAD.

I think fans would bitch about them regardless of what they looked like, because they're not the original three.

I haven't played a Pokemon game since Red and I don't have any particular desire to start again......but Smugleaf almost makes me want to reconsider. I mean, he's awesome. JUST LOOK AT THAT FACE.

Honestly, I like the confirmed pokemon for B&W better than I like most of the pokemon in D&P :/

I can't decide which one I want. At first I wanted the otter, but after seeing their evolutions, I have no idea. Maybe I'll just get friends to breed the others. :V

Oh man, for real. /vp/ has been flipping the fuck out, but I love them. I think it's more about an unwillingness to accept change than it is about the actual starters. Also? I would take Wotter in a heartbeat. JUST LOOK AT THAT WITTLE FACE. :3c

I basically hate all the revealed pokemon except Zoroark and Zekrom. Smugleaf owns, obviously, but his evolutions don't ): Most of the reveals are just recyclings of the older pokemon. We already have tons of 'that bird pokemon' or 'that monkey pokemon' or 'that dinosaur pokemon', we don't need more, and they're all too cutesy looking :/

I love them all. Those who whine about fifth gen are just being haters. I'm not the biggest fan of third and fourth gen myself, but that doesn't mean that they aren't great games.

I'm loving the starters and Chiirami so far. Oh and the zebra thing, and the deer, and the legendaries, and... XD
