I'm 19, and I loved the books when I was a kid (mostly because owls are my favourite animals). When I saw the trailer, in 3D and everything, I was so happy I actually started to cry.

I read the first 5 books when I was a preteen. I'm 20 now and finally JUST finished the entire series. Can you imagine, just as I've finished the books, BAM MOVIE. It's pure awesomeness.

Okay, I have never seen any trailer for this before, but a few days ago I saw a poster for it in the train station (in Tokyo) and freaked out. What IS this? (as I doubt the Japanese name will have very much to do with the real name) And WHEN DOES IT COME OUT??

OP, I am 20, in college AND I AM STILL PUMPED FOR THIS MOVIE.

Also, read the books. They're pretty awesome. I read them ages ago and after I saw the preview for the movie for the first time I went back and read what I had (I've missed a lot). When I first saw the preview I was squealing and flipping the fuck out I was so excited.

Don't be ashamed, I'm 19 and I plan to see this movie as soon as I can. Though, I grew up on books like these, including Warriors and Redwall, so animal-based fantasy is a lot of fun for me.

LOL, you are essentially my friend and I (except we're 20). We know nothing about the plot or anything, just that it's about talking owls. But the animation is gorgeous, so we don't want to miss it (we'll probably just end up seeing it, ngl).
Also, it's nice to see a trailer for an animated movie that doesn't suck, and part of me wants to throw my money at them just for that. ;)
