So I don't understand how people think 0-2 sized women are hot. It's like...necro.

Duuude. Do you not think necro is kind of gross then? Personally I would say comparing someone to a corpse is worse than, or at least as bad as, calling her disgusting. But YMMV.

*sigh* okay, here is what is up. Yeah, the necro comment bothered me, but it was not the only thing you said ITT that made me profoundly uncomfortable. You have a type: that's great and no one is taking objection to that, everyone has a type. But in both your original comment, and a couple of comments thereafter, you emphasized women who are not super thin as having "natural" curve and thin women as being skeletons with flesh, and mentioned your very thin friend (more than once) who seems to have, at least from your comments, not the most healthy self-image or attitude towards weight. And this makes me uncomfortable, even though I am not thin, because I inferred from your comments that thin women are somehow unnatural or are thin only because they are obsessed with their weight and that simply isn't true. It just isn't! And it's a problem because saying "v. thin women are unattractive" is that it's just another way of policing women's bodies and it's not an uncommon one. I understand that you didn't mean to say any more than "girls of this type are hot" but the way you phrased made a lot of people unhappy and it is a very sensitive subject, maybe moreso on LJ which is largely populated by women than anywhere else.
