(Anonymous) 2010-09-16 04:02 am (UTC)(link)You definitely do not suck and your work shows a lot of promise. The other anon said a lot of the things I'm thinking. I personally would not submit those pieces as a fest gift just because they look unfinished to me - not polished enough, you know? But you don't suck by any means.
I wouldn't feel totally cheated if I received those pieces as a gift, whereas I've seen some shitty gift art in my fandoms that would make your toes curl. I'd give examples but I really don't want to hurt anybody's feelings (which is why shitty art keeps happening in fests, nobody can bring themselves to give actual crit and I can't really fault them for it, I can't do it either).
