For the record I think it's good to be OK with who you are, but if you have weight related health issues you shouldn't be complaisant about your weight just because you accept yourself. If you DON'T have weight related problems yet you will when you get older even if you are just 60lbs over weight. Get up and fix you life, fatty. If you don't want to do it for acceptance do it for yourself.

This is a personal statement. I used to be 230 lbs. I lost 70lbs and could stand to lose 40 more.
