Look, he's good looking and smart and funny. But he's also kind of a dick, and I'm not talking about what's in the shows but shit he's said, and that pretty much turned me off him.

Being myself a transwoman, I hate him for the way he defended Brian's reaction to sleeping with a transwoman, stating that it's like fucking a man. What's funny is that is his physical body is what I go for in men.

That scene was the nail in the coffin for me. I just flat out hate him for that. So fucking wrong & offensive.

He's hot, and I love his voice too.

Obviously merely butthurts.
I think he's pretty sexy. But I could never imagine my vagina eating his peen. It would be too weird since it's easy to look at him being a husband. I mean, I can imagine him turning me on just by talking, but sex is taking it so far. Not that I wouldn't though.

He is adorable and has an amazing voice. I get so conflicted when I see pictures of him.

I always assume people who say stuff like this haven't read up on the things he's said.

Why are people so passive about this? Why don't you list at least one douchey thing he's done? And not something that you felt has personally attacked you (like his stupid cartoons), but something douchey in general.

I agree with what has been said about his voice... but god DAMN he is a sexist douche. He may not write all the Family Guy jokes, but he sure as fuck approves them. If there were a drinking game where you drink whenever you hear a joke about how unattractive women are worthless, how attractive women are only worth anything because of their looks, or how rape in and of itself is HILARIOUS, most people probably wouldn't survive. I think he only calls himself a liberal to shield himself from any criticism. "Lighten up, toots! Can't you take a joke? I'm a LIBERAL! That means anything offensive I say doesn't mean anything!"

Not to mention the fact that his shows are formulaic is snark bait in and of itself, but what really grinds my gears (as it were) is that he keeps putting teenage daughter characters in - while admitting neither he nor his writing staffs know how to write for them! So they end up pushed to the sidelines (or in the case of Meg, that plus being regularly abused), and I think "What was the point then, Seth?". Hey, Seth, here's a thought: How about hiring some more FEMALE WRITERS? Or are you afraid you'll get icky girl cooties all over your "bro" cartoons?

I look at his face, and I suddenly become irrationally angry. His head reminds me of a tomato, and he's got a shit-eating grin.

To me he kinda comes off as a dick, and that's without having read any quotes of his infamous dickery. He's got an incredibly awesome voice, though.

I can dig offensive humor, sometimes, but it has to actually BE FUNNY. And handled well. He does neither. He just makes crude jokes. And I hate that he always uses the "I'm a liberal!" excuse. That's like the "I'm not racist, I have a black friend" excuse. Stop making us look bad, Seth.

haters gonna hate, etc etc. idk, after watching him on Bill Maher I've grown to enjoy him, dickish tendencies and all.

Good to his fans? Well, maybe in person, but every time I watch any episodes from the past year or so, it seems like they contain at least one huge "SCREW YOU" to viewers per episode. As in, rather than being able to tell ourselves that they're oblivious to the things that bother a lot of fans, they take that option away from us by blatantly going: "HEY! WE KNOW YOU HATE THIS! TOO BAD!"

I don't know, I just finally got fed up with it, but it doesn't matter, because he'll never get canceled and he knows it.

That's just cartoons, but it always bugs me when a storyteller, especially a comedian, lets rants get in the way of story/comedy. But then, half his comedy is shock-based and it's kind of hard to shock after so many seasons of that style of humor.

...that said, the interview linked above did a pretty good job of shocking me just now. Oy...
