17. I do too, to an extent, but I don't let it prevent me from getting to know the person before making a decision.

17. I do not let it stop me either, but it does give me an idea of what kind of posts to expect from the person. It also tells me if they will be jumping fandoms repeatedly.

HAHA. Yeah, that's true XD To me, the wider the spectrum of their fandoms, the better.
Although, if I see a vast majority of the icons are the same character, I start to get worried if they're otakin...

The majority of my icons are of just one character, but I'm mostly doing it because I've grown to like having a consistant 'face' online.

Well, I can understand your reasoning. My username is a throwback to Chibiusa, and while I've moved on from her, I stick with the name all over the net. I like the consistency.
