17. I used to do that. Then I realized that many other people, like myself, don't have icons for all of their fandoms or are Just Not Good at making icons. For some reason, I do respect a person more, though, if I can see they actually are trying to make their own, even when they're not very good. Maybe it's because I can sympathise with them. ^^'

18. To some extent, I can relate. Not Japan, though; more like musical instruments. Since I've played the piano, flute, and guitar, it pisses me off when people act like they know what they're talking about but DON'T. Especially relating to piano, since it's my main instrument. Like when people have characters suddenly sit down at a piano and start playing by ear even though they've either never played before or (pet peeve) never played without sheet music before (some people can, but it's fairly difficult/rare). But I digress... ^^' This is turning into a rant.
