Ugh, I hate it when people vanish, even when you've given them tons and tons of outs and lots of opportunities to say something. I think a lot of fandom people are just not great in social situations where they feel any kind of pressure, so they freak out and ignore you/stay silent instead of just telling you. And it sucks because it just makes the situation worse, and makes it harder for people to continue to be friends.

*Hugs* I know exactly how you feel I have a friend that I know likes me, but She's so bad about getting back to me when I e-mail her, or anything. Sometimes I have to send her a wakeup call, to remind her I can't read her mind and she needs to let me know if something is going on.

I've got issues like that, too. It can be kind of heartbreaking when you spend months (or years) developing plots and building character relationships, getting emotionally invested, and then it all fizzles out. And it's worse when the partner keeps saying 'no, I still want to play with you!' and leaves you hanging on, instead of being honest and providing a sense of closure.
I hope your next RP partner will be someone you can feel more secure with.

It's secrets like these that make me worry about my fandom friends. They've pulled out of some rough spots (and I've done the same for them). But our fandom is relatively new- what if they disappear one day? I don't think I could take it.
