The doujin I have for the pairing is written in Japanese, thus is where I'm getting it.
As well as the majority of art I get for the pairing is from pixiv, thus is where the Japanese comes in.

One -- yes, why the hell would they be speaking Japanese anyway? Aside from which, it's much more natural for a German speaker to use a name instead of a title.

Two -- THE WORDS SOUND NOTHING ALIKE. NOTHING. How can you not hear the difference between Nissan and niisan? This is similar to equating rice with lice! Completely different sounds!

Secondly; it's more about the appearance of the word than sound. I get slighty dyslexic like that. >>;
Though they do sound similar imo. It could be my accent, I am not American, as the majority of the people I find online to be.

So it seems I've created a bit of confusion here, resulting in the 'Why are they speaking Japanese anyway?' Comments.

The reason they would be speaking Japanese is that the majority of my art for this pairing, as well as the entirety of the doujin I have, are from Japanese artist, thus, the entirety of their conversations are in Japanese.

Um. I think I'm going to judge you for the stupidity you've displayed in all 3 points, especially the one here in italics (OP explained him/herself in the comments already). Hetalia fandom has plenty of incest pairings. None are more "sick" than the other. And you've contradicted yourself on the weeaboo point. If "Nissan" being read as "nii-san!" shouldn't make them think of Germancest because they wouldn't logically be speaking Japanese, why would it be any different for Russia/Belarus? They don't speak Japanese either.

1) It's not in a weaboo manner. As I explained in an above comment, it's from reading doujin that's been written in Japanese. If the ability to read Japanese makes me a weaboo, well, fuck me.
2) I've never even thought of that. Honda is pretty much the Japanese version of 'Smith' anyway.
