Chapter 20 of this season had me sobbing. Church's accepting that Blood Gulch was a happy memory for him, along with him finally admitting out loud that he always will love Tex? Too much for me to handle.

I think the reason I love Church and Tex so much is that it is, quite literally, impossible for them to be happy and normal together; but that they cannot stop the fact that they care about one another. It's terribly bittersweet.

Agreed. And I also love that they have a bit of a role reversal. Not in Tex being the more aggressive of the two, but in that Tex is the one who wants to know the truth, who's searching for answers, and Church is the one who's there for her, to pull her back from the edge when he can. :)
