Aww... well, it's understandable, Takeshi/Brock's was the more subtle, lingering one that gives you time for it all to sink in.

SWEAR TO GOD, I think I've been making secrets in my sleep again.

I fucking bawled. Brock has been around FOR EVER and they're writing him off of the show with such a bullshit reason. He's been, like, Ash's mom-away-from-home! I was devastated (and still kind of am) :(
