Ugh yes I stopped watching after this bullshit started. She was like some misguided attempt by the writers to humanise Dexter (see, viewers! He DOES like sex! HURF DURF!) and her voice was so irritating.

I just got into the show and I just finished the second season last week and YES I AGREE. That bitch was psycho and so fucking annoying!!! I wanted to see him cut her apart as she slowly bled to death or something to that effect.

This is why Dexter fandom grosses me out.

I liked her for a while but she was poorly written. I'm actually kinda glad the show gave her a quick death. I think the alternative would've really unsettled me.

I know that Lila was a bitch but god i love her, she was amazing and season 2 was maybe the best season of dexter. I'm still :/ that they kill her, imagine if she was still alive and now that Rita is off the map, it would be so much fun if Lila was still alive and get some revenge.

Personally, I love it when a show (or any other media) can make me hate a character that passionately. That's just good writing and only brings further satisfaction when the character suffers their ultimate demise.
