Yessss. xD I didn't think anyone else even attempted to RP Jin.

YEAH, it's not like I went to any other RPs to see if they had Jins or Pellegris.. *cough* 8D

Ahaha, I do that too. And I'm to lazy to widget out, BUT I DID TAG YOU BACK FINALLY.

Jin is an underappreciated character, what won me over was when he slashed that entire gear in half with his sword and I was thinking, "how is that possible?".

I think that Jin is fascinating, as is the whole relationship between him, Margulis and Pellegri... as well as the relationship between him and his sister. Definitely one of my favorite characters to RP. (even though I don't RP him half as much as I did two years ago, since III came out.. I haven't gotten a chance to sit down and finish the game much less drag him out for any scenes.

I've never met anyone who has RPed Jin before. I've met tons of Citan RPers. Alot of whom are on my FList and who are really very good, but Jin.. none whatsoever.

Yes, I LOVE the relationship between those three. That's actually why I couldn't put III down.. Jin and Pellegri scenes ♥

I've never seen anyone playing Jin just in general. My friend plays him in our private RP, and at

mixedupnyxfiles and

mixeduprebirth, and he was probably the most loved character in the RP back when it was bigger.

Then again, I play Pellegri, and I've only seen one other person play her.. and they weren't too great.

See I don't play Jin in front of a whole lot of people anymore.. I just play him to

rhapsodyofbliss in our crack AUs. (Our favorite was the Victorian one where Jin and Margulis dueled over Pellegri, Jin shot Margulis's eye out and then Jin was forced to flee to India for 14 years...)

But the dynamic is great I think.. I've never seen a Pellegri player either, most people I know seem to typify her as a heartless bitch, which I don't necessarily think she was, I just think that when the events of Militia occured, Jin wasn't the most mature person that there was, she was probably attracted to Margulis' direction, but Jin's focus, well you've heard mention of him in game of switching jobs, I think that misdirection had to of stemmed from somewhere. And in the section with Militia, you can truly see that Jin was nostalgic because he could see the direction life had taken him.. the why's and wherefore's and everything.

Yeah, I really haven't played Pellegri much outside of the private RP I'm in. But that's really true. I haven't seen many Xenosaga characters at all that have been played well. I spent a lot of time watching and reading about Pellegri, because I love her so much. The only other Pellegri I've seen WAS conveyed as completely heartless and evil. I really do think that Jin being so flippant was what made her turn to Margulis instead, since he was someone who WAS very focused and adamant with his beliefs.

But yes, rambling.. xD It's hard not to though.. Most of my friends have been falling out of Xenosaga lately.

Not to mention you saw her buckle just a little bit when older Jin met her in her early U-Tic days. There is that faltering to her voice. Definitely Jin isn't what she needed, Jin was probably too busy trying to be an action star, you know the hero of the story, and she didn't want to be the Princess.

It's alright, I mean I still squee whenever I see a Xeno icon, but I try to keep myself discovering different fandoms, doesn't mean I love my true love fandoms the best, just that I'm exploring and prodding.

I hate it when perfectly good females are maligned, Pellegri included. I know that there are some females that are pure awesome and yet get stoned by various fangirls for reasons like 'they didn't appreciate the hero enough'. It's refreshing when someone comes along that came play them not as mega-bitch but rather a human with feelings, no matter how much they try to cloak those self same feelings.

Yeah, and if you consider the anime canon ~~or had the stamina to actually sit through it..~~ she let her relief that he was alive and doing well slip a lot there.

Yeah, I keep moving on to new fandoms, but still nothing has been able to match the love for Xenogears and Xenosaga. And I'm not even really into the Xeno fandom that much.. Outside of icon communities. So I get withdrawals. xD

Yeah me too.. I don't contribute fics or anything.. the occasional icon, the mention of it on my journal and the talking with other Xeno-fans that I have on my flist.. but other then that, it's just RP with myself and

rhapsodyofbliss which I guess I'm content with.

I have always found that you don't need to be buried knee deep in a fandom to fully appreciate it.
