That makes sense! No, I mean, I'm like that too with my muses, so I completely get what you're saying. And I'm 98% sure my friends aren't entirely serious when they're talking about the characters in their heads, but all the same, it's a little off-putting. It's not something that I feel seriously annoyed by, it's just a tiny thing that makes the situation awkward at times.

I can see how it would be, but as long as they don't mean it that way, it's hopefully pretty harmless. And obviously not bad enough to make you stop playing with them. <3

I think it can be difficult, too, to hold muses so strongly, to have researched them or thought them out to the point where you DO become emotionally invested in things on occasion. It's probably bad and I probably shouldn't do it, but I can't help it sometimes.
