Just what I was going to say. If his agent were female, that would be pretty spectacular. It would have really tricky sexual politics, but I'd love to see a show really tackle that.

That said, we'd have to find something else for Matt and Tim to do!

It would be interesting, although I love Neal and Peter's relationship that if Neal were a girl, Peter would have to be too. We don't see a lot of female friendships done as epically bromances are done. Needs to be fixed. Oh, and Peter (Petra?) still has to be with Elizabeth because we also could do with more married (or at least as close to it as possible) lesbians too.

I see Neal Caffrey as...not exactly gender-neutral, but that's the closest approximation of the phrase I can come up with. He is a con man: the whole point is that he can be anyone. So imvho, the character would not be fundamentally different if he was a woman.

Um, no. I like White Collar. A lot. I would just like it a hell of a lot more if Neal (and Peter) were female. I'm sick of the dashing male lead who gets into every girl's panties and charms the whole world over. I'd love to see those characteristics in a female lead; and I know that some shows have that, but I would have LOVED if specifically White Collar had girl!Neal and girl!Peter. Is that so wrong, anon?
