Fuck off. Your internet squabbles with "fandom feminists"* can just stay with them. If you've got an argument, let it stand on its own merits. I don't see why you need to resort to spouting hate and bullshit out of ignorance about people like me - someone who has been trying very hard to deal (and have all my life) with something that is very fucking real.

I sit in a therapists' office, as someone otherwise perfectly sound of body and mind, and my throat and mouth go dry, my whole body racks in uncontrollable tremors from the mere act of engaging in vocal communication with a stranger. It's something very real that focus and trying very hard on one's own can only go so far to mitigate. Sitting here and telling me I shouldn't need therapy because it's ~not a real problem~ rings fucking hollow.

As for "it's a ~first world problem~", sure. So is pretty much the whole thing about treating mental disability. That's such a ridiculous non-argument.

*I consider myself neither a part of fandom (I come here to F!S, that's it, and I've probably made a grand total of 4 replies) or of feminism (humanism, sure), but that isn't the point here.
