Wow, a lot of "I ship them" secrets.

11. You realize people have the right to not agree with you just as much as you have the right to be annoyed, right?

12. Nice elitism there! :D

18. LOL ME TOO

[identity profile] jianna.livejournal.com 2007-05-19 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
12. I agree. 3D art is... blech.

5. YES.

I almost did that with a friend with our OCs (turned them into kids and then slashed them), but I chickened out at the last minute. I'm not overly religious, but I seriously thought God would smite me in the middle of the night. >_>;

P/VP OTP? I knew I wasn't the only one who slashed them. >_>; thank god

15. How is it that I slash politicians but fail to notice the buttsecks in that picture until it was pointed out? I would have caught it eventually, but...

aww, kitties. ;_;

11.You do realize one of those definitions is "source of inspiration," right?

[identity profile] hako-neko.livejournal.com 2007-05-19 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
6. Same.

12. Watch Reboot.

11. I know perfectly well what the word 'muse' means. When I use the word, I mean it in the sense it's that spot of inspiration inside of me that allows me to write a character. According to your secret there, that's a perfectly acceptable use of the word. And I know a lot of my friends who also use the word use it in that way.
fangirlism: (I feel pretty! - Keita)

11. Like everyone else has said, you mention one of the definitions is "a writer's inspiration." So me, personally, when I say I'm looking for my [insert character here] muse, I'm referring to my inspiration to write that character. But more often it's referring to an aspect of said character.

Like my slash muse is zilch right now. ;_;

9. and 11....

I feel exactly the same way. x:

1. One Piece drama would be hilarious. Nami's obviously dating Vivi, though.

10. I know I'm going to regret asking this, but... what exactly is going on there? *squints*

[identity profile] cephiedvariable.livejournal.com 2007-05-19 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
5. FOO, WHATCHU TALKING ABOUT? BUSH/RUMMY IS CANON. :O Bush/Blair used to be canon and Bush/Harper WANTS to be canon, but Bush/Cheney is SOOOOO 2004.

... uh, yeah. You're awesome. XDDD My friends and I joke about that ALLLL the time and we're not even American (meaning we could actually probably get away with it?)

10. I must be going blind, but I cannot make out what's happening there? Is she being tentacle raped by Jenova? O_O

11. That's uh, pretty pretentious. :P Most of the people using the word "incorrectly" realize that it's not the PRECISE and EXACT meaning of the word. They don't need enlightenment. Fandom is more or less a subculture unto itself and all subcultures have slang. Lingo. Jargon. Whatever. I also find it's use a little annoying at times, but it's so deeply ingrained in fandom culture that there's not really any getting rid of it. No one is actually undermining the "purity" of the word. It's still going to be there when you get back.

13. ... is that unusual?

14. Well, at least your first thought wasn't "ZOMG RAEP? D:" ??

[identity profile] saave.livejournal.com 2007-05-19 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
7: o o;

15: UH, SADLY YOU ARE NOT ALONE. SILLY MOUNTING KITTIES.

9. Lololbebe.

Oh, and I agree with the last part of 4. I mean, a secret that just said 'Death to Shinra' wouldn't be accepted, right? So why is one that says 'Zero sucks' okay?
karel: (karel; still believe in futures)

2. PRINCE OF EGYPT OMFG. I loved that movie as a kid. X)

6. That was one of the things I did like about that series. They were all so COOL with each other. And Luffy was awesome. :D

11. You "miss spelled" misuse. XD

15. After you pointed it out, I thought that. But their positioning is kind of off. :\

[identity profile] maeda.livejournal.com 2007-05-19 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
12 Whoa, whoa, slow down, there, champ. 3D art is fucking gorgeous if you do it right - don't confuse legitimate 3D art with badly-done Poser renders.

[identity profile] lostremnant.livejournal.com 2007-05-19 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
12. "3-D art is the art of people who can't draw. It's barely art at all."

Sorry, that's bullshit. How would you like it if someone said that drawing wasn't art because there were people who posted stick figure drawings and called it art?

3-D art can be AWESOME. Apparently you haven't seen any good 3-D art. Well don't blame the medium for that. Good 3-D art is really hard to do, as hard as ...oh I don't know, ...good drawing?

[identity profile] nanakibh.livejournal.com 2007-05-19 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
1 - I like it just the way it is. XD I'm glad there's no drama! ...Though it would be funny to see people whine about who Nami should be with... If anybody, I'd say Sanji. If it weren't for the fact that I pair him with Zoro. 8D
6 - I've always wanted a nakama... But in order to have such friendships, you must sail the Grand Line, apparently.
15 - My mind actually just travelled in the same direction. .__. WE ARE TAINTED PEOPLE.

4. I bet all those secrets are made by Case to advertise for the RP. Hey, it works.

12. I bet you've never tried to do 3D art. Um, do you know how much time it takes to make models like those? Do you know how hard it is? I'm partial to the way it looks too, but it IS art and it's not only for people who can't draw.
