Sorry, that's bullshit. How would you like it if someone said that drawing wasn't art because there were people who posted stick figure drawings and called it art?

3-D art can be AWESOME. Apparently you haven't seen any good 3-D art. Well don't blame the medium for that. Good 3-D art is really hard to do, as hard as ...oh I don't know, ...good drawing?

WORD. I do 3D art (DazStudio) and while I'm definitely not the best, I'm trying to improve (e.g. post-processing renders in Fireworks and Photoshop when I never used to do that, fixing things that look horribly wrong) and I really find this comment elitist. I can't draw, no, but 3D art is so much fun, and can be so good. Maybe I'm strange, but I love 3D art simply because it allows so many more people to be artists and to create very pretty things.
