Hm I actually gave up on watching it halfway. Awesome graphics and all but the story is boring and confusing.

I watched it all the way through and I'm STILL not sure what happened. IA, the graphics are fantastic, but the story if just WTF?? and not in a good way.

I think it's one of those shows that, for better or worse, has to be watched a couple times through to really get. Personally, I love that I keep discovering things and understanding it more and more every time I watch it, but I can totally see how people would not like it.

And how the ending was like, "AND NOW THE REAL STORY BEGINS…"Is pretty cruel. I enjoy the ending quite a bit, but it makes me crave a second season or an OVA or something REALLY badly. Urgh.

I know I'm kind of missing the point, but gods is Re-l hot in OP's pic. Sexy goth is sexy.
