I think something like this may be best described in the poster's defense as the way men fantasize about school girls. I doubt they're actively considering them 18 in their mind to make it legal. Fantasizing about that sort of thing vs. actually believing that it's okay to do are very different things. It's my opinion that fantasizing is not a precursor to action, but rather an inhibitor in cases like that. Do I believe men that fantasize about school girls are going to be stalking a Catholic girls school? Well no, some will, but 99% of them won't. Same case here. Even if she does fantasize about it, it's her preference and we have cultural and societal mores to keep things in check and protect the underaged. As long as she isn't luring ten year old girls over for "slumber parties" then what you read and write in fiction is sort of like a fart in the wind. Just my two cents on another perspective in case the OP is shy about responding.
