HOLY BALLS, WHO ARE YOU??? I NEED TO KNOW! Seriously, dude, one of my best friends and I lament the fact that we've not outgrown a love that the rest of the gaming world has. Seriously, ask either of us what the most influential game of our youth was, and we'll say Heretic. We were ecstatic to LAN game deathmatches in Heretic and Hexen II, celebrated like nobody's business when we discovered DOOMSDAY mod patches that allowed us to finally play Hexen in smooth, sharp goodness.

God, I NEED to know who you are because he and I have been longing to encounter someone else who felt this strongly about a game that's over 15 years old. And you want Mary Sues? I can introduce you to an old Sue of my very own XD. NEVER FRET ABOUT YOUR TASTES, ANON.

HeXen II was my major crack. I used to write Paladin/Assassin fanfiction for absolutely no reason, and when I was little, I snuck downstairs when I wasn't supposed to and watched my family deathmatch. I love those games like burning--and Doom, too, although that one gets much more recognition--and yet there's never been anyone else who even knew they existed.
