That can always be a YMMV thing, and smut has a lot of that, so I'll keep that in mind when I finally get my copy. It's just weird because if I don't think her smut is good enough I'll feel embarrassed on her behalf, or something. ::is weird::

Oh definitely, she just used a few I wasn't familiar with outside of Penthouse or non-fandom erotica (particularly the one het piece, as I don't usually read het erotica so it was like, "Wait, that's actually a word people use? o_O"). Body part words are pretty much always YMMV though, but that was really the only problem I had. But I'm forgiving, so I hope you enjoy it too!

Oh good I thought I was the only one. XD

I liked reading the character bits, but I honestly could have done without the sex! Am I weird? Not to say all her sexy bits are bad or anything, I enjoy some of them quite a lot, but I think some things are better left implied.

That said, I really enjoyed the book :)

Sorry, the sex was one of the things I was most looking forward to! XD;

I don't need to have sex to enjoy a story at all, but given how much of an established couple Alec and Seregil are, how it's obvious that they're intimate, I personally wanted to see just a little glimpse into it, which I thought she did quite nicely considering she hadn't been comfortable writing it.

It's definitely a YMMV thing and doesn't turn me off from the books at all (by NOT being there, I mean), but it's like...a little extra spice I like having and was glad she attempted it and didn't fail hard :)

Yeah I thought theirs was pretty sweet <3 I guess it was mostly Alec's parents that weirded me out a little? I think it was just the terms she used, fantasy novel terms tend to make me go "bwuh?" haha. I loved the het stuff she did in the Tamir books, though, so idk!

Haha oh god, I read the guy/guy stuff fine (though when it started in on Seregil's first time I was like, "WHOA WHAT?" because I'd just finished rereading the third book, so that put a whooooole different spin on it) on the train to work, but when it got to Alec's parents it was like...so weird XD Maybe because I hadn't read het stuff in a long time, maybe because it was Alec's PARENTS and it felt like reading porn about my own parents, maybe it was just the really...well, you hit it on the head: fantasy novel terms. I just had to put it away til I got home XD;;

Other than feeling a little awkward with bits like that, though, I thought it was a good read overall, if a little too damn short XD (also I was really kind of thrown by the random insinuation in the preview snippet that Seregil hid stuff up his ass XD;;;)

GOD I was so excited about it. I had been completely out of the loop until I was browsing the Kindle store to stock up on the NR books to read on my phone and saw it there. It was like a, "...Haha what? I'm waking up now, right? Right?"

I really enjoyed it though *____* I just wish she'd drop more of that kind of stuff in the books as a whole, too! Fade-to-black is fine and good and all, but it gets a little boring after a while when you want to see the characters expressing their feelings for one another in more ways.

Also the preview for the next book wlisudhfliusfio yaaaay :D
