I use lame...quite a lot, actually. The last time was last night, when there was a Halloween dinner all my roommates and I were invited to and I got up all dressed up and went and none of my other roommates ended up going even though 2 told me they would. So I called them lame for not going. That's usually how I use the word, to describe people who back out of social events. If you're not going to go don't say you're going to go, dang it!

Strangely enough, I have arthritis and I sometimes have to back out of a social event myself due to being in too much pain. If I were to use that word on myself then it would have double meaning, I guess. I never really thought about it that way before, though. I don't consider "lame" a word to describe people with actual disabilities, and certainly not to describe myself. Are there people that actually do?
