Maybe OP feels embarrassed admitting that they think about a possible wedding
Maybe the OP has qualms about marriage in general
Maybe OP is MtF and feels awkward in dresses
Maybe OP is FtM and feels awkward still wanting to wear a dress
Maybe OP talks about how much they dislike Disney movies a lot and feels like this is selling out
Maybe OP just doesn't want to talk about it with their regular friends.

I think it takes a supremely lazy thinking to not see how this could be a secret.
